Major Flood Warning for the Lower Flinders River

Major flood levels continue to ease at Walkers Bend on the lower Flinders River.
No significant rainfall is expected across the Gulf Rivers catchments during the next few days.
Flinders River downstream of Richmond:
Major flooding is occurring along the Flinders River downstream of Richmond.
The Flinders River at Walkers Bend is currently at 9.96 metres and falling. The Flinders River at Walkers Bend is expected to remain above the major flood level (5.60 m) during the next few days, but is likely to ease below the major flood level (5.60 m) later this week.
