Flood Warning for the lower Diamantina River

Flood Warning Number: 16
Moderate flood levels are easing along the lower reaches of the Diamantina River between Diamantina Lakes and Monkira.
No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.
Diamantina River to Diamantina Lakes:
Moderate flood levels are continuing to ease on the Diamantina River at Diamantina Lakes, but remain around 2.9 metres above the level of the causeway on the Springvale Diamantina Lakes Road.
Diamantina River downstream of Diamantina Lakes:
Moderate flood levels have peaked at Monkira, and are continuing to fall on Monday morning. River level rises are expected to be occurring further downstream along the Diamantina River to Durrie.
